Located in the province of Colón, the Portobelo National Park was created in 1976 and has an area of 35,929 ha. Approximately a quarter of its extension is marine area, and the fortifications that surround the inlet of the bay of Portobelo were declared World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1980. It is a beautiful area to explore.
With its crystal clear beaches, this is the ideal place to take a walk and enjoy the wonderful flora and fauna.
